Chiefland Fire Rescue

 

 

    Chiefland Fire Rescue is your community fire rescue service. The men and women of Chiefland Fire Rescue are trained as Firefighters and in Basic Life Support and are dedicated to protecting your life and property. The Chiefland Fire Rescue Department is a public department that provides essential services to the residents, businesses and visitors within the Chiefland area. We also serve Levy County residents in the unincorporated area known as Fire District 7 and Fowlers Bluff area through contracts for the fire department to deliver all of its services. The department is a combination department that consists of 5 paid personnel and 12 volunteers who are paid per call. The departments Insurance Service Rating (ISO) within the city limits is a class 4 and in the unincorporated area outside the city is a class 9.

 

 

 

 

Mission Statement

Chiefland Fire Rescue's mission is the protection of life and property through Fire Prevention, Suppression, Emergency Medical, Hazardous Materials and other emergency services during both natural and man-made emergencies in the city of Chiefland and the unincorporated areas of Levy County in the most effective, professional and efficient manner possible.
